High levels of lipoprotein(a), or Lp(a), are a known risk factor for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). Elevated Lp(a) can contribute to plaque buildup in the arteries, increasing the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular complications.
This elevated lipoprotein(a) trial is evaluating an investigational drug in adults who are at risk for or have experienced an atherosclerotic cardiovascular event. This study is exploring potential new treatments for high Lipoprotein(a). Through participation in clinical trials for high lipoprotein(a), individuals may help advance understanding of how investigational therapies can reduce major cardiovascular events and improve long-term heart health.
