Dr. David J. Shih is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, with over three decades of experience in patient care and clinical research. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Following his medical education, Dr. Shih completed his residency and fellowship training at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, where he also served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. His clinical interests include nephrology and primary care, and he has made significant contributions to both academic research and patient-centered care.
Dr. Shih currently serves as a Principal Investigator at Lucida Clinical Trials and continues his medical practice at Hawthorn Medical Associates. His expertise and commitment to advancing medical knowledge make him a valued part of Lucida’s research leadership.
