Dr. Maria Rumsey is a board-certified cardiologist with advanced expertise in non-invasive cardiovascular imaging and diagnostics. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Brown University before pursuing her M.D. at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Rumsey completed her residency and fellowship training at Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center, specializing in Cardiovascular Disease.
With over 15 years of clinical experience, she has practiced in both community and academic settings, contributing significantly to patient care through her commitment to evidence-based and personalized treatment approaches. Dr. Rumsey brings particular proficiency in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiovascular CT imaging, with Level 2 training in all three areas.
