Ulcerative Colitis (UC) is a chronic inflammatory condition that affects the lining of the colon and rectum, leading to symptoms such as abdominal pain, persistent diarrhea, urgency, and fatigue. For many adults, managing moderate to severe UC can be challenging, especially when conventional treatments fall short.
A new clinical trial is now underway to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a potential treatment for adults with moderate to severe UC who have not yet received targeted therapies.
